Did anyone hunt and/or do any good on late season doves? Our Va. late season came in Christmas day and went out Jan. 9th. I went four times and failed to get a single bird. I bet I didn't see enough birds to make a 15-bird limit over that whole time. Of course it has been abnormally cold here - temperatures rarely getting above freezing - since the season came back in. That probably had a lot to do with the lack of birds. :(
