Of all the sites I visit this is the only site that I have to renew and get a different password. Now when I go on my laptop I'll probably need a new password. When I do that I get kicked off this one. I would love to have my own password and not the system I'm useing now. I know I'm not very computer literate, but have belonged to Hunt Chat for years with no problem, intil the last year. What gives?

Nulle, Sure hope you don't. The one I got for my lap top last week wouldn't work on this one today, had to get a new one again. This has happened several times in the last year. How's your weather? Too cold here to chase bunnies even, well it's up to 2 above now and little wind. The older I get the more I look forward to spring.

Hummm. I have never had that problem with this site, but have had it with others, and I understand your feeling. I have quit useing acouple of them because of the hassel. I have had not problems with this site even when traveling and useing my wifes lap top on the road. I don`t have my password in it, but enter it each time because I use it so infrently. Would hate to lose you as I enjoy your post, so I hope you have no more trouble.

Our weather is up and down this year. Eastern part of the State has been running in the - figures but out West we are in the 30's.
This Sunday I am going to a dog trial at Buffalo Gap and hope the weather is good for that.

First, try purging your cookies on BOTH (or all) your computers. You'll have to log on again with each one, but after you do, the same password should work on all of them.

Rocky, I will do that as you suggest. Other sites after I join them with their assigned password allow me to change it to one of my choosing, is that possible here? Thanks

You can change your password.
When you are logged in, go to your "User CP" (user control panel) near the top left of any HuntChat page.
Once that page is open, look on the left side for the "Settings and Options" category.
Click on the "Edit Email and Password" link.
Just follow the instructions from there and you should be good to go.
