A client of mine darted a White Rhino in Limpopo Province while on a quest for a trophy Nyala and other plains game. Darting is used to check the health of the Rhino and in the case of females, to check for pregnancy. Aside from the PH, a licensed Vet is on hand to supervise and instruct the green hunter in how to use the dart gun and where the shot must be taken. Very exciting hunt getting within 30 yards of 3 tons of fun. Cost is about 1/4 to 1/10 of shooting a Rhino. Other game can be added on this hunt, especially while pursuing the Big 5. Contact me if you want to arrange your own green hunt, dangerous game or plains game safari.
Good hunting,
