THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENT EVER MADE BY A PUBLIC OFFICIAL . . . .

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO REQUIRE THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES.

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540
million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the
opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained.

"Nobody made these guys go to war.

They had to have known and accepted the risks.
Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its
history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

REMEMBER THIS STATEMENT... "Nobody made these guys go to war.

They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?"

I don't know how to find out if the Nobama idiot really said this.. But it is in character

Oh poo.

Today I am from Missouri, 'show me'

And I pointed this out quite a while ago. Since 2007, EACH and every time I visit the VA, SERVICE CONNECTED OR NOT, they charge my Insurance Company every time.

And this STARTED in 2007, guess who was in the Oval Office then.

Nobama wanted the military forces to buy insurance from monies forwarded to them through the payroll. The military supporters didn't follow along because of a very real reason..In 2011 the cost of medical insurance borne by the employer and the employee is going to be included in the final figure as income..so the gummit can tax those portions as income to help pay for the Medical plan Nobama's forces illegally pushed through Congress. Every body's income is going to go up drastically(if they receive medical insurance as a benefit) so income taxes will be raised to help pay for these idiotic spending bills pushed down our throats..The middle class guy will take it on the chin again.. including the military if Nobama had his way..He seems to despise this country and all it has stood for. I know he surely doesn't respect the American people...even the ones who voted for him.. Still Congress passes the bills.. we need to bang on Congress...hard..Both sides too.

Well, after reading through the Snopes report, unless I am missing something and/or have misinterpreted the report, my impression was that it was mostly true!
