Any one doing anything special this weekend? Bride end myself got some Elk filets out and did German sausage and baked taters. May be last years but they cut with a fork!

How momma was doing. Glad to see there is a little normalcy in yer household..Sometimes there is in mine too. Hope ya had a good one.and got tomorrow off.

Thanks for askin....wife went through last round just fine! Appreciate the prayers n thoughts. Yup, I'm off Monday, taking son and fiance to range early.
Cute gal, from Cali...never shot before....gonna start her on some simple stuff, she seams eagar to learn.

Went to range at 0700...after a few minutes of talk, Natalee took my 22 rifle and Buck Mark and at a plate size target,,,25yds.....wanted to start her small.... 200 rds later, this kid had not missed paper with either gun!!!!! This Cali girl.....no gun background......fell in love with it!!!!!
Ifn she's gonna marry into a hunting/shooting family, guess now's the time to start.....next time, work up on cals and distance.....

Four day weekend for me :D I was gonna watch the fireworks from a hill overlooking town but the entire display blew up the day before. Our volunteer fire department put the show on every year. Apparently, one of them was getting things set up when a charge went off in his hand. He and two other went to the hospital. The other two were treated and released but he had to stay for more treatment. He's lucky to be alive from what I read. I did go on a nice hike with a buddy checking out a possible hunting area, pics are at the link below. Hope everyone had a good 4th. Remember those overseas who weren't lucky enough to be with their families
