Man Charged in Fatal Crash in US Illegally

BRISTOW, Va.- Prince William County Police say the man charged with
drunken driving in a crash that killed a nun was in the United States
illegally.

Police say 23-year-old Carlos Martinelly Montano, who is from Bolivia,
was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement after a previous
arrest, but he was released pending a deportation hearing.

Montano's car crossed the median in the area of Bristow Road and Wright
Lane on Sunday morning and hit a car carrying three nuns from the Linton
Hall School in Bristow. Sixty-six-year-old Sister Denise Mosier was
pronounced dead on the scene, and two other nuns were critically
injured.

Montano is charged with driving under the influence, involuntary
manslaughter and felony driving on a revoked license.


BUT the key phrase in all this is the fact that " Police say 23-year-old Carlos Martinelly Montano, who is from Bolivia,was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement after a previous arrest, but he was released pending a deportation hearing."
Released and the government sues Arizona for wanting to enforce the laws the US is not enforcing??. Sheesh, something wrong with this picture.. Yep this happens even with people who are here legally and with citizens..but the fact of the matter is that this is all unnecessary. Why do we NEED a deportation hearing if it is clear they are here illegally. No legal papers..nothing in the legal database(and there is one)..then send 'em home. And if they have money..make them pay for the ticket. If it was money they "earned" here..then it was after all ill gotten gains. :rolleyes: If he had been deported when first arrested then this poor nun would still be alive. Just common sense in my opinion.

Skeet, I live in a Sancutary City.......this crap is common in Denver n it's gonna get worse! Lotta good hispanics n others ....then there are the others......hell, I've got a hisp across the street....citizen...darn nice guy..we'd do anything for each other!

Dan this isn't about hispanics..it's about illegals. I know quite a few hispanics..have a couple of neighbors that are hispanic... Heck there are good people in all ethnic groups. But the cost to the country of the illegal "immigrants" is just too high. There are too many like this..then the cost to the tax payers of the country in all the welfare and medical costs is just waaayyy too high. I know the arguments too. They just want a better life. But there were millions in the past who just wanted a better life...and they did it legally. Most of us have immigrants in the nuclear family. My grandparents on my fathers side were immigrants..legal. They came here for a better life and fit in..they had no welfare to back up on. They did with what they had or did without. Like most of the rest of the population. They wanted to be Americans..US citizens and worked for that dream. The majority of illegals seem to come here now to take advantage of the system and you and I and the rest of the taxpayers have to pay for them. The citizens and legal residents want a better life too..without having to pay for the illegals. Especially with the kind of costs like the aforementioned. Death destruction and no remorse..

My apology....I got a lil carried away....I'm well versed as to Illegal...ALL types...covers a bunch of different breeds! Believe me, I see em all in my business...what really ticks me is when they try to pay for auto parts with the new plastic that I know is for food stamps...then argue to me that they pay "no tax...is going to Africa".....man, I've learned more dialects than the Pope!!!
They buy it here....they pay taxes...

Hahahaha.. I like that learned more dialects than the Pope!!! I actually heard No habla English so many times it wasn't funny..and the same thing in other languages too. I've been cussed in so many languages that when they started in on me..I told 'em ..hold on and I'll get the house interpreter. We had a few at the airport where I worked. Heck some of us dumb firemen spoke more than 2 or 3 languages. It was kinda funny when one of the guys came back at somebody in their own language.. especially an esoteric one. I even spoke a little Icelandic..kinda off the wall. Never studied any of it..I even understand some Russian French and German among some others. Never could get a handle on Chinese Japanese and Vietnamese. I no pay tax..it go to Africa..LOL....

I though about this all weekend, and am sorry to say:

If our fellow Americans would stop hiring them in the first place, maybe the biggest part of them would go back home.

I hate them being here, living tax free, and can't speak English. But maybe we need to smack some of our countrymen in the head like Gibbs in NCIS.

But you don't understand..many are colleting more money here with aid to dependant children free(to them not to us) medical etc etc etc that they get more money here for just being here than they would earn in their home countries..but you are right..the people hiring need to be gone after too...

There is another thing that plays into the equation too..with welfare the way it is...people will just stay home and make more babies rather than take a real working job..Catch 22. Welfare was not intended to care for people cradle to grave..but our politicians have done that to us...creating a group of people dependant on the gummit forever..instant voter base..just what the illegals would be if they are allowed to stay permanently..instant voter base for (probably) the dems. The Republicans would sell their souls for an instant 10 million votes too though. And don't forget many if not most of the illegals they would allow to stay here would instantly sign up for welfare and be an even larger drag on our economy. Why work when it would all be free??

You know this is a sad state of affairs. The illegal that ran into and killed my friend back east was also free waiting for a hearing on deportation. I knew one of the cops at the scene..he was a student of the man killed a few years before...he said the guy was laughing and told some of his "homeboys" who had been riding with him that nothing was going to happen except being deported to Nicaragua..There were a few people there including the cop who would have gladly ended the pukes life. The man he killed was a very well thought of person in the community. I think the illegal is in prison in Md now.. Adobe wall woulda been better.

What does worry me big time is come November, there is likely to be a very big backlash against the Democrats placing many on the unemployment line. As they will be lame duck politicians, they could ram a lot of legislation through with Obama gladly signing it into law including amnesty for the illegals and a quick trip to citizenship.:eek::(:mad: I dunno if they'd be that stupid, but they are Democrats which already shows they ain't all that swift.:rolleyes:
My neighborhood is about 75 to 80 percent Latino, or Hispanic if you prefer. Probably most, if not all are legal or citizens as they've been here as long as I have. (31 years.) The ones that I talk to are just as much against the illegals as any of us. They want them deported even more than I do. One of the instructors in Hunter Ed is Hispanic and we were discussing the situation and I made a tongue in cheek suggestion that maybe we should have the Great Arizona Varmint Hunt. Wasn't too sure how he would take it but I swear he almost fell on the floor laughing. I still think it's not a bad idea. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

What is more likely is that Nobama can do a presidential decree to do the same thing saving the backlash on the democrats in close races for Congress or the Senate. Probably after the election in Nov. If he does that he will fast track them to citizenship. Not a good outlook at all is it?? 10 million votes next election..99% for Nobama..Payback would be a Big vote for him..think of it... And the wimpy American people would go along with it.

statistics are available almost anywhere you look and yet they are poo-poo'ed by congress, state legislatures, sanctuary cities and so on. they also fail to acknowledge that polio, malaria, tuberculosis and many other diseases are being re-introduced by the ILLEGAL immigrants.

it seems the pro-ILLEGAL immigrant activists are using the Karl Marx and Sol Alinsky play book...

something has to be done...otherwise, it'll be crushing in a very short time period.
