Probably wont deal with the hassle of bringing one with me on the plane. I'll see if the BIL in Denver will lend me one

Looks like the lodgepoles continue to take a real hit from the beetles. Looks worse than when I was here in March/April. It was really bad west of here so we'll see what it looks like when we hit Vail valley later this week.

If it's any consolation, Tony and 4 freiends were up on the Gore and Red Dirt Res Sat n Sun and saw 0 Blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

misery loves company I guess
have some sun now but the forecast at elevation is gloomy all week
got some at 500 elevation above us last night. Just went for a walk in a bit of a blizzard, but the ground is still too warm for it to stick here at 9300 ft.
makes for some good photos ops, and makes the ski season seem closer
