Those Eurasian Colared Dove are already pairing up and making a lot of
noise...that dang tripple co-co-coco is everywhere. Think I'll try hunting them
this year!

Heck all of a sudden we have 'em everywhere too. And a real bonus this afternoon we had 8 turkeys come through the yard..4 big ol gobblers together and 4 hens.. I owl hooted 'em and two of the toms perked right up and gobbled They are over in the little piece of woods we have at the back of the place gobbling now. If they come back by..I'll get a pic and post it

Sounds like the Turkentauben are getting around :) they are also quite common over here.
COLLARED TURTLE DOVE / TURKENTAUBE: Originally from India, the “Kleine Taube” was first seen in Bavaria in 1947 and has since spread all across Germany. The Collared Turtledove has a prominent black stripe on the rear and sides of the neck, a white patch on the throat, and white bars on the wings. The turtledove's call is a coo coo. They frequent gardens and prefer to nest in Pear Trees.
