O'BS just signed an executive order banning the return of the Garands and Carbines we loaned the Koreans during the Korean War and has ordered them destroyed? Over 1 million rifles. With the advise of guess who? The Secretary of State of course. Why? They might get into the wrong hands....... be used to kill people. Well make damned shure the DOJ or ATF do not get their hands on them.

He is coming clean and shedding his anti gun Gillie suit.

There may be some bad information out there on this item. I hae seen other information that said Korea wanted to sell the rifles back to us and "State" said no. I haven't seen anything about them being destroyed, but it wouldn't surprise me because "Bill" gave an order for M14s to be destroyed and now the Marines are looking for M14s to use in the MIddle East. Maybe 'State" sold them to Nicaragua, Hondouras, and Mexico in the $17M deal that is filtering the guns back into Mexico from the south.

Rapier,

Great post! My older relatives built many of the Garands and Carbines we used to win WWII and subsequently equipped friendly nations. I find it odd we cannot welcome home the arms used by "The Greatest Generation!" None of the Garands or Carbines were "Crime Guns", but they are casually labeled so by the Gun Controllers.

Rest assured all our guns in our gun cabinets are NEXT!

I did nore reserch into this and how it slipped by. If I read this right, it turns out the Koreans asked if they could sell the guns to US Citizens direct, through dealers and importers of course, in order to raise funds for Korea and in September 2010, O'BS by executive order gave them permission to "Export" from and "Import" our guns back to us, for sale to the public. Then in March 2011 O'BS rescended his executive order. So apparently no one noticed the slight of hand until about three months had gone by because he just rescended an order.

This is a perfect illustration of how once a law is made all you need do is change it a bit and you get hammered or whatever, without anyone knowing you lost anything for months.

"We had to change our mind because bad guns might get into wrong hands:" blah, blah, blah, BS, BS, all BS in large piles. I think it ain't raining and my back is wet.

Where is the flush handle for the big commode? It is in the 2012 closet.....
