Starline brass?

Anyone here use it? I'm just curious as to how it stacks up against Remington-federal-winchester.....does it have the same case life, ect.

Mr 16.. I have used it extensively in some calibers. 44 mag and some 45 auto. Also got some 30 Rem from them once. Good stuff. No problems.Usually better than Win..I have found Winchester of late to be variable as to weight.. Remington has been better. Oh..and I had a bunch of 45 Colt..it was about the best 45 Colt I ever used.. Never loaded any of it more than 3 times..Sold most at gun shows. After I had loaded all I would need. Been a while since I bought any of their stuff though. I just sold half of the 6.5/284 Norma brass I had and it was very good brass..very good. .

Starline brass is good quality stuff. They seem to specialize in handgun brass, although they make some rifle brass, too.
Everyone has an opinion about who makes the best brass, and no 2 opinions match, of course. :)
My opinion is that Starline brass is a cut above Remington or Federal, and similar to Winchester.

I agree with skeet and Jack. I have only used the handgun type of Starline Brass and it was of very good quality, IMHO. That was a while ago, but I suspect the quality has been maintained.

Starline is good quality brass. However, being a Scott, I only use their brass for the "odd" brass they make, like the 45 Super and the 445 Super Mag.

I have been using Starline in .45 Colt for a long time. I also use Win and Rem, but use Starline for the heavy loads. The brass is a little thicker so you want to work up the loads separately in Starline so you don't get to the stage where your primers are "smearing" on the head of the case. (Less space--more pressure).

That is why I used the Starline 45 Colt..a bit thicker and seemed to handle heavier loads better. Most of them were shot in my Contenders though..The Ruger handled 'em too but not as comfortably as the Contender

I have used starline brass on 45 colt, and 38 special. I think starline is the best brass you can get for a given caliber, but that's just my 2 cents.

Starline is good stuff. Was lookin in the garage today and found a hundred new 45 auto cases.. and 95 new 44 mag cases.. Didn't even know I had 'em...well I probably knew about 'em...but not where. LOL

Here's another vote for Starline brass. I haven't used that much of it but I have also found it to hold up at least as good or better than Winchester or Remington brass. The new cases I have gotten from Midway also seem to be polished up a lot better than Win. or Rem. too. I wish they offered a more comprehensive line, particularly in rifle calibers.
