View Full Version : New glock 30sf
after too much research i went out and picked it up with income tax money. typical glock put 6 of first 10 in a 3 inch bullseye at 15yds. gold dot 230's run like butter in it. only issue with it, the 3rd shot out of the 1st clip didnt go off, it chambered and the primer is hit but the rem umc ball ammo did not go bang. 200 rnds later flawless knocking cans down with no prob all day. only prob,,, holster selection looks limited, and i cant shoot my g26 well after shooting the 30... also a buddy had bought a m&p 40c the same day, man the trigger on that thing is awful, really limp, almost felt broke

kt,
I am glad you like your Glock. I carried a M19 Glock 9mm from 1989 until I retired in 1996. My old duty gun (M19) is in the vault. It died on me three times, always at the range, and now that it has been refit by Smyrna, GA Glock folks, it is put away in safe keeping. I have no confidence in Glocks.

im sure as a duty gun your glock saw a lot more abuse than mine ever will, my grandfather has a 36 that is terribly unreliable. i feel very confident in them and i think they improve all the time. a few things i found curious upon this last purchase is that the more companies copy the glock (SR9, M&P or sigma, XD, etc) the more expensive the glocks get. some of the competitors are insanly expensive. sigs were 950, and how in the world do kahrs warrant the price? i like them but a micro gun costing 750? wow

I happened to buy a S&W 9mm Sigma?? Striker fired no safety. the price was right the deal was real. I also got a box of Black Talons for 5 bucks and filled one mag(I thought they held 8 or so but they hold 16)..have to find another box to finish loading the other mag...sheesh. Not much use for a 9mm but shot some 115 FMJs and it does ok as far as accuracy. Think I will be selling that little Beretta Tomcat 32 now. I still don't like the Grocks..especially for what they cost..but a S&W for under 200 is nothing to sneeze at..in my opinion
