We trekked to the Tulsa show this past weekend and a good time was had by all in the group. Seemed like 90% of the buying, selling and trading was between exhibitors. I did not see a lot of the public buying or selling.

Odd thing happened at this show, I sold a 410 LC Smith ejector gun that I have had for years, to a dealer that lives 7 miles from my house. I had to drive 600 miles to make that deal. Then I traded a very nice SxS fancy gun to one of our group that wanted it for 5 years, ever since I bought it. Now I have a 32 inch 12ga Grade 5 Browning Citori and he has a nice engraved 20ga SxS had to drive 600 miles for that deal also.:D

Saw some nice AR stuff and found out where the cheap ($240) mil spec uppers are coming from, Korea, was what I was told. I suspect it might be Norinco by way of Korea though.

If you ever buy an Aug (one of the 3,000 imported) do not put it on a table unless you have a long stick. Regardless of the signs hung all over it, folks just got to pick it up and play with it. Play time, is now spelled Do Not Handle.

We just had a great time, as usual. If you can, really, go at least once in your life. 11 acres under one roof and 4,100 tables.
