I have one on order because I have wanted one for awhile. Question is has anybody else used one of their bolo machetes and how did it work out for you? I have used one of their khukri machetes but never the bolo.
Thanks

Sounds like a big old knife to me. Actually my neighbor hacked the devil out of a tree in his front yard with one. Aweful looking tree but the machete did work.

And tooo big for long carry on a rig..... darnit. But it works pretty well in the yard. Guess it will go in the old truck toolbox.

Heck GOB..rig a carrier so you can carry it on your back just sticking up over your shoulder. I saw the same machete that a friend made a back sheath for..It looked good. That fellow just died in Feb from an infection thet went to his heart somehow. Died on his 37 th birthday. He was an artist in leather. I have 2 or three of his custom sheaths. He had a saddle that was so nice..and actually fit my butt so well I considered buying a horse just so I could buy and use that saddle...and I have very little use for a horse. My neighbor has 'nuff really good ones I can ride any time I want..without the work of owning a horse. Shoulda bought the saddle i guess. He has a lineback dun that I actually like..and vice versa

Ok no carrier for this thing. Cold steel is getting a nasty letter from me. After 15 minutes of trimming Chinese tallow, elm, and tickle tongue trees with it the edge rolled over so badly it wouldn't cut hot butter. Never had this problem with tru temper or Ontario machetes at all.

Never been much with all these newfangled cuttin tools anyway, GOB. Go find yerself a real hand implement. Get yerself a real old time corn knife. I have one and it is a dangerous tool...in my hands!! Please...don't ask me why I say it that way
