On June 20th, 9 days from today, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is scheduled to vote to charge Eric Holder, Attorney General, with contempt of congress.

Do you think it will be a yea vote and do you think the contempt charges will stick in the full house?

All I can say is, what took you guys so long!

Nothing will happen. No charges, no jail time no land slap. All we can hope for is that he goes away after the next election. He ain't no friend of mine.

Who can say for sure.? I believe there is enough evidence for a contempt citation. All the best...

Even though we may have "elevated feelings" about this matter, the contempt citation will depend on "facts". If he did refuse to give the investigting committee existing documents they asked for without legal reasons to refuse, then contempt is in order. I believe they should nail his butt and it would be legal to do so. I think the full house should back this citation.

I agree, "What took so long"? Hopefully they do find him in contempt with the full house voting for it and fire his a$$ & bring him before a judge and jury. If they do not, us Citizens need to dump about 50 tanker trucks full of chlorine on capital hill.

I'd like to see it happen, as Holder has gotten used to getting away with far too much. But, can we really believe anything would be done to one of the Magic Kenyan's "Little Buddies"......?

Holder will not be voted on this Wednesday because he agreed to gi ve them some documents if they would hold off. So they will hold off and he will give them some paper, but not enough to burn him. And the beat goes on.

Today Obama exerts executive privileges over these documents. What are they trying to hide? http://content.usatoday.com/communities/theoval/post/2012/06/obama-team-fast-and-furious-documents-are-privileged/1

Well, Issa is proceeding with the contempt hearing. The reason is in this article, it is an amazing read, they have Holder by the nads, they caught him lying to congress, etc., and have the documents in hand to prove he lied. There is a mole in the DOJ who has been sending Issa documents.

This is all very similar to Nixon and how he tried to get out from under Watergate. Executive Privilege will not save you when you lie, under oath, to Congress.

And now you have the answer, the Committee voted to hold him in contempt and send the citation to the full House.

The one thing that really makes me sick about this is the Democraps acting like this is about them politically and not about people being killed, murdered by these guns, legitimate gun owners being blamed, the Attorney General lying or anything else but their petty little political carriers. You got to see right out in the open yesterday, public officials not give a diddly damn about murder, honesty or integrity and be totally focused on their politics. Frankly it was disgusting and we need to remember what we saw, come November.

Terry's death is very bad but do not forget the ICE agents and the 10,000 or so Mexican citizens these guns were used to kill including Mexican Government officials.

I watched the vote go down yesterday, Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), and especially Rep Elijah Cummings (D-MD) who both stood up for Holder saying that he was trying his best.

Them 2 and others were slammed by Rep. Jason Chaffetz (UT-03), I did send him an e-mail congratulating him even thou I do not live in Utah!!

Today will tell the tail, we should get a full hearing and vote in the House, one motion on Criminal Contempt and one motion on Civil Contempt. Looks like up to 24 Democrats are going to vote for contempt.

What is troubling to me is the attempt by the Black Caucus to make this into a Racial issue. They plan a walk out. That to me is insulting to the house as a body.

Before this is over we well may see a Supreme Court decision on Obama's Executive Privilege claim as well, just like Nixon.

17 Democrats voted with all but one Republican to find Holder in Contempt of Congress today. Now the drama really starts as we see if we still have a democracy of and by the people or a Chicago Mafia in the halls of DC.

After what Roberts did yesterday, what O'Bozo has done in the past 3 months, and Reid and Pelosi did in two years, I am not so sure. It is starting to feel like a Semi-Dictatorship.

But I will take the Mark Anthony approach: I come not to praise Cesar but to bury him. Figuratively of course, in November, along with his dance partner Holder.

After lunch Roberts was quoted as saying,"It is the job of the Supreme Court to decide the constitutionality of a question, and not to protect the public from the elected political leaders." Sounds fair to me.

I'm hoping that this will give the Republican a boost and they can contol all branches. I bet it would take about two day to repeal this mess.

OK now that he has been voted to be in comptempt of congress whats next. Understand the Justice Department has refused to file charges (big suprise). What power does Congress have to carry this thru?

Well, I for one expect nothing to really be done, til we can oust this petty tyrant from office and get his entire Chicago Gangland regime out too. Hopefully, this November We The People will speak loudly - "No more obama!" The <obama> will hit the fan. We can expect a hue and cry from the Loony Liberal Left, as they try to <obama> their way out of their self-inflicted misery. But we need to hike our pant legs up and don our hip-waders, as the <obama> gets deeper and deeper...... There is light at the end of this long four year tunnel of doom & gloom. Send the First Illegal Alien back to his Chicago Ghetto! He can take Holder along for moral support (jk). Every Skipper needs his 'Little Buddy'!

This is an exercise in unbridled "I do not give a Crisco what you the people think." Most folks would have resigned long ago, not Holder. His ego is only surpassed by his boss and the House Twit, Pelosi. This is such an amazing farce for government. It is no wonder the people, in some parts, actually think the Congress as a whole is at fault, without splitting this up to look at the House and the Senate as two bodies. This is the liberal media trick, The Congress. It is not the Congress, it is an obstructionist Senate under control of the Dems that has led to this and allows the administration to run wild without fear of impeachment. Impeachment is tried by the Senate.

The House did not just find Holder in Contempt, it was two counts of contempt, one criminal and one civil. The criminal requires charges by the Justice Department which was, as expected, reluctant to proceed against their boss. However the civil contempt is a court matter, and has already started by the retention of a prosecutor representing the House. The civil contempt is something the Justice Dept can not stop. This civil contempt was what finally got Nixon, it went to the Supreme Court and when the court rejected his claim of executive privilege, he resigned the next day.

By the way, with removal from office, the criminal charges still stand and Holder can be tried later by an new Attorney General after the O'Bozo leaves office. So patience, it is a long process, but Holder has a big dead albatross hanging around his neck. November will tell the tale and we may have a number of folks going to jail before this is over. But, I fully expect Barrack Husein to pardon Holder before he leaves office.

But, one thing is absolute, we need a serious overhaul of the laws of the land. No one should ever be in a position to violate the laws of the land and thumb their nose at the people's representatives, ever. I do not care who they are or what their party is. We, us, have allowed the passage of laws which have made all of this possible and we must bring our government back into a state of accountability, accountability to us, the people.

We here in FL are going to remove our esteemed Democratic Senator Bill Nelson from office in November. That is a given, and he is a walking political dead man, right now. Not one Democrat in the Senate should survive November, but there will be some, just help make it as few as possible. Right now, were it not for the Senate, Holder could and would be impeached. Barrack Husein and his Senators have to go or we are truly sunk.
