Went over to a local shop today to look at a Ruger 3600 and compare it to a Walther. Well that was a bust as they had both and both have triggers that are, lets be kind, not pleasant. So I asked the sales guy if they had a 2245 Lite, he handed me a 2245 and I told him I saw those as prototypes when Ruger showed them off at our International Small Bore Championships. But I wanted to see one of the new Lite guns. So after a second of thought he skittered off and returned with a box, a special order, just in this morning.
Very interesting 22 Auto pistola. 1.4 pounds total, with 4 inch barrel, aluminum with liner, threaded for a suppressor, holed for a weaver scope base, steel innards so you can do a trigger job. The exterior configuration is a Standard Auto with a polymer grip frame angled like a 1911 in a very light weight package. Very nice.
