I have had to buy myself a few gifts.. Started out with powder for reloading..then some bullets..then some primers..then somethig to waste the aforememtioned powder and bullets in..and another older reloading press and I just couldn't stand it and bought one of the new Lee classic cast progressive presses.. Then bought another thingie to waste some more of the bullets powder and primers in.. And last but not least got a really nice scope to put on one of the things to waste bullets powder and primers in

Powder was some of the new Superformance..and 223 CFE from Hodgdon..
Got bullets for 223 and 22-250.41 mag and 25-06
Bought primers for small rifle small pistol large pistol..got plenty others
Got a really nice Savage Stevens 22 mag over 20 ga
Got another Savage 342 in 22 Hornet..in like new condition
And the scope i got is a new in box Burris Signature Select 6-24x44 Mildot
The last item is a new in box also Remington 700 22-250 with fluted barrel and the Kevlar Stock..I don't usually like tupperware stocks..but this is the tan one and doesn't look too bad. Supposed to be the cat's meow for shooting though. I sold my last 22-250 quite a while ago..and since I have about 600 rounds loaded..I just had to have something to waste them in. Yeah..that's right..if ya have ammo..ya gotta get something to use it in..a little backwards maybe..but it works

Not really gun related(well not too much) I bought a really nice Atlas Clausing lathe and it's tooling back east in Md/Delaware area..but not going to be able to get it till March when I go see the docs again. Actually I stole it..and gonna use it like I stole it

The fellow i bought the rifle and scope from also had an almost new(shot 2 boxes) Ruger Red label 20 ga O/U..in the box..and it had 30 inch bbls. One sweet little 20 ga. The Sporting clays model. A friend went with me and he also bought that sucker for a thousand bucks..which for a quality O/U isn't a bad price..and having 30 inch bbls and some pretty wood is a real plus. I am just a little upset.. I wish I hadn't taken that guy with me..I coulda had that 20 ga!! It even had 3 extra Briley chokes with it!
And I just remembered..that guy bought a nice little Standard weight 1100 20 ga out from under me at a pawn shop..I'm gonna start pickng my friends a little more carefully..
