Last night the web site for the That Others May Live Foundation (TOML) custom 1911 Rem R1s that I built for them and donated to them went live. All of the money raised gos to the families of the killed and disabled military Rescue community members. Between the rescue of civilians, accidents and multiple operations all over the world, we have lost a lot of rescue guys in the past 15 years. This is the web address.

Basically there is a gap between what the government does for the GIs and immediate tragedy assistance needed by the families of the deceased and disabled, like transport of the family to hospitals, lodging. Plus secondary assistance like scholarships for the kids, etc. TOML seeks to fill that gap.
