Picked up my holsters that were in closet.45 belt holster was hard as a brick! Checked the others and they were fine.....Bianchi or SafariLand......the quality of leather does make a big difference! Spent a hour with saddle soap and even the 45 holster....unknown hand made are fine once again.Dang it, I check these often.

Yeah I found a fillet knife of mine the other day with a leather sheath that was hard as a rock. Saddle soap saved it, but you do have to keep an eye on them now and then. Weird thing is this is a factory sheath and it hardened up. Laying right beside it was a old butcher knife in a sheath that I made when I was six out of saddle leather. The old saddle leather sheath is still just as fine as the day I made it.

I keep after my leather slings, holsters and boots with Neatsfoot Oil and Mink Oil. Those products really work. All the best...
