FIJI,

A few years ago I picked up a heavy barrel Savage Tactical bolt gun in .25-06 in a Choate stock, with bipod with 4X-12X scope that weighs about 15 pounds. I do not recall the Model designation. I just know with 87grain handloads, NO coyote is safe within 500 yards.

We have few chucks here on the farm, so I let them alone. My Savage .25-06 handles all chores sent its way. I call the rifle "TORA BORA." I advised Savage to use the name TORA BORA for such an accurate rifle of their manufacture, but I have had no reply. Whatever?

out of curiosity I put it on the scale today. 12.5 lbs Feels like a lot more!

I needed something in between my .17 HMR and my .280 Rem and if it turns out to be the tack driver I'm hoping for these MI yotes are in trouble.
