ok. while i'm on this "what if" kick, what if i were to sight in dead on at 100 yds?

also, what is the effectove range of this .44 carbine? from deer down to rabbits?

250gr partition hg hollow point, muzzle velocity of 1550 through a 18.5" barrel

25yds/1.1 50yds/1.9 75yds/1.6 100/0

i think id site in for a 100yds zero. on bigame i wouldnt push it much past 100yds on rabbits n critters id go for 200 or so id be about 8"s low at 150

with 25yd zero its 14" low at 150.

with 100yds zero you could shoot from 25-125 without holding high. its low 3"s at 125
