Why not? His luck has to change at some point and why not with a lotto win.

GOB, I'm sorry to hear of your run of bad luck lately, and thank God you're OK.

buckhunter 04-22-2009 11:32 AM

The pictures say something for driving a Big Old SUV. Again glad all is well.

I don't know how much better a large vehicle would have done. For that fact most cars that size would have disintegrated on that impact.

I am looking at either another cobalt (not blue this time that car has been cursed) or maybe an HHR.

Well I do know I ain't into cars etc

But what the H is an HHR?

GoodOlBoy 04-23-2009 11:03 AM

I chevy venomhiculator. Stands for Heritage High Roof. After reading reviews though it is really gonna hafta impress me before I buy one.

If you liked the Cobalt, you should love the HHR. Its just a panel van Cobalt. Same platform

skeet 04-23-2009 03:36 PM

Oh!!

It's a lot clearer now..LOL. I actually looked it up with Google. Don't take this to heart but that is an ugly vehicle..Just my opinion ya understand:D

A few years ago I had a close call of a similiar nature. I was behind a slow moving farm type semi which had it's hazard lights on. The truck pulled off to the right shoulder so I figured I'd pass. It was pulling right to make a left turn into a driveway. I was able to stop even though I had a full load of firewood. If he would of just went to his left blinker only I would of know his intentions.

GoodOlBoy 05-12-2009 10:16 PM

Yeah yeah Skeet it may be ugly but it rides like a dream and gets about the same gas milage with a HECK of alot more head room.

Im so glad you were ok, reading thru the story i kept wondering... What did the idiot driving that rig do or say ??????
You left that part out !

GoodOlBoy 05-13-2009 11:04 PM

He said "Heck I didn't even know you were under there, but I always check my load at the curve up ahead so I woulda spotted you then" The curve was about 200 yards further up the road. I seriously doubt I could have hung onto that undercarriage that long.

*shudder*

Gezzzzzzzzzz..... like bugs bunny once said... WHAT A MAROON......

I completly agree...that little car wouldnt have made it another 25 yards before it got completly flattened.....

he probably would have said "dam jackrabbits" to himself and kept on goin.....
