Adam, We don't dare treat illegal immigraants from Mexico the way we would be treated if we illegally entered Mexico. We would be violating their rights. They feel if they get here they are entitled to the rights of US citizens. The problem is in Mexico. If the Mexican government would do something for their own citizens, they would stay home. The government in Mexico is so corrupt they use the US as their "upward mobility" program for their citizens.

I am 40 and still have to show ID to buy a pack of cigarettes sometimes, some places you must show ID to get a beer no matter how old you are, but it's wrong to ask people to show ID to see if they are in this country illegally? Umm, really? Simply unbelievable.

I will give illegal immigrants from anycountry immediate citizenship..........

Seems to me if you are willing to risk your life with smugglers, dying of dehydration in the desert, ect, a tour in Iraq or Afghanistan would be a cake walk.

Mexicans want respect. The bullshit in the California school where students were told to take off their American flag shirts so they wouldn't offend any Mexican students on Cinco de mayo day. The officials said the Mexican students wanted respect. Well, Tough S---. If they want respect, they can go back to Mexico and have all they want.
I have said this is why we have problems is because they only respect those who demand respect. We are long past due in demanding it from Mexicans who immigrate here either legally or the normal illegal way.

If they entered the country legally (or were born here), then they are Americans! If they are here illegally, then they are criminals.......no two ways about it.

I don't see people of Irish descent demanding that we take off down our American flags on March 17th.....why should we on May 5th? Same rules apply.....or none apply!

They need to quit being so over sensitive....If they take offense, then they need to pull their thumbs out of their mouths, their heads out of their asses, and go back to Mexico....I don't see any sneaking across the border to get into Mexico, do we now?

Our gov is the whole problem now days with the illegals along with those that are born here. Dangle the free checks in their face and they want it all given to them. Foreigners for years came here with their skills and helped build a better America and one I know after waiting his 5 years to become a citizen got drafted after only 4 months a citizen while I know of bums born here with hands out in the welfare rolls able to serve but since can't pass a drug test still get their welfare checks instead. That needs changed. Drug test for check. I had to take drug tests to work. We would accept those that pick apples, grapes, vegies if they would only get on the tax rolls and stop being a gang/drug problem. No profile then..if your kind are a problem then expect profile. Clean up your kind and profile will stop. After all, what able body american teen would lay on a plank and pick cotton all day? We would have to pay them $20 per hr, insurance, vacations, housing etc and then the rest of us could grump why a tomato cost us $40. So lets make your check avail with clean drug test first, stop taking away our rights just to give them theirs, let us say the word God or Christ or Merry Christmas with out being fired from walmart and learn to speak our language. My daughter isn't even alowed as a teacher to wear her cross around her neck under her shirt or will be fired. We need to oust everyone in office now and replace with new ones. Clean out the hen house. We need to make those in office pass a drug test too. I wonder how many would fail.

I find it amazing that we station thousands of our troops overseas to secure borders in places like South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo among others and cannot secure our own borders. Take care...

Years ago when the Germans, Italians and the rest came here they applied their skills and helped build America. Our own born in this Country that get free everything from the government has led to those now that want to come here with their hands out. Problem is with our gov and our own native born. Who would not want a free check in the mail? After our welfare check people take/pass a drug test, we should put them to work in the fields laying on a plank all day picking vegies. But then we would have to pay them $20 hr + bennies, housing, paid vacations etc. Then a tomato would cost $40 each. They stopped the jail birds picking trash along the roads 'community service' after they would hurt their back, sue the state and walk away with million bucks or so. Work for the check. Pick vegies, pick up trash, did ditches, pave roads etc etc..I think that is why so many worked on the pyramids. Too many people walking around doing nothing the gov back then just put them to work for their food. That kept them off the streets. Kept them out of trouble. Just food for thought.

I combined what I posted and sent it to my liberal rag. They told me via phone call (you have to give your phone number) that they would not prinit it because they felt it was demeaning to Mexico and the Mexican people. I said, "F you, cancel my subscription IMMDEIATELY!" :mad:
I also sent it to that latino onper border amnesty loving S.O.B. Raul Grijalva, Congress Representative for mexico rather than the people of Arizona who voted him into ofice to represent them. I do hope the people of Pima county vote his sorry ass out in November but I ain't gonna hold my breath. I can only pray that he ends up very long gone.

first of all...let me say: "GO ARIZONA!!!!" if things had gone differently, my wife and i would be residents there now...we love the state...it has our support and blessings. they have the fortitude to stand up and take up where the federal govt REFUSES to do it's job of PROTECTING OUR SOVERIGN BORDERS!

that being said...

what all these so-called "activists" seem to conveniently forget, or ignore, is the treaty of guadalupe hildago of 1852 that separated the two nations as being separate and soverign nations and agreed on the political border; both nations signed the agreement. of course, they'd say "oooo...that's been a long time ago..." yes...it has...but if you want to follow that logic, shouldn't mexico be given back to the Mezo-Americans? after all, the spanish took it away from them...

all of the so called protesters and legislators that protest the enforcment of the laws are, IMO, ignorant, arrogant, ill informed, biased and themselves, racists of the highest order...that is to include the current resident of the white house.
