Worked fine for me today, as I am sure you are aware since we were talking in the chatroom for a little while.

I got a connection Timed Out error, BUT it was probably because I am behind a firewall

Is this gizmo like a realtime type written chat or does it link voice?

It's an IRC chat service, so I'm pretty sure voice doesn't work with it.

Works for me, takes a bit to load and ya hafta have java enabled. of course main problem is nobody else is on and I get lonely chatting to myself (and it bothers my cowokers) :p

Tried it, and I got in ok. But I couldn't change my handle. tried several different things, but few directions avaialable.
Guess I'm just internet dumb:D

Whats the server to throw in so I can link up in Ice Chat?

Had the same trouble Lonewolf but then figgered it all out. Type your new handle in the white box below the "Change Nickname" button then just hit enter....you're done!

Petey, maybe you're on this already but will we see a link or button somewhere so we don't have to come to this post everytime we want to log on?

Hmmm, tried it again just now and it worked this time. Maybe a bug or something?
I could see this being a cool thing for HC though!;)

Got immediate screen to download a plug in.
Seems itsa netscape plug in. Didn't know which one to get.

BTW am running Mozilla Firefox.

It would be the "Enter Live Chat" words in Petey's post. Put your cursor over that and you will see it.

worked great except suicidjky was the only one there and it took me a sec to figure out how to change my name and that was with help are you going to post this chat in a more obvious place so maybe rocky will join in sometime lol hope to see some there next time and maybe come up with a meet time or date just an idea

it keeps telling me there is a java error i might need a up date

Is there anyway that it can remember your handle without having to input each time you enter the chat board??

Well, it looks like this thing is catching on. I just logged in an Suicide is in the room. Problem is, he isn't responding no matter what I throw at him. Might just have to throw the kitchen sink to wake him up. LOL

A link to it on the home page would be pretty nice. Problem will be arranging times to meet in there.

Actually you can register your username and put a password to it, but I have a generic sign on so even I have to switch my username when I log on, but it's password protected. So noone can logon and try to use my username unless they know my password.

This is a generic plain jain free service. If there is intrest I'll make a link on the main page for it.

I am open for suggestions or other scripts.
