Spring ?

Well yesterday in Western South Dakota we had rain and nice temps. Christmas it is supposed to be in the 60's Whats With That!

Same here... too warm... no snow...

Heck this fall/winter we have hardly had daytime high's below freezing! It made for an intresting hunting season to say the least!

Weather has been pretty variable here also in SW ND. Below zero last week and the high 40's this week with some rain. What little snow we had is gone. Back to having muddy roads. May have to go check out a dog town this weekend and distribute some lead for Christmas.--tr

Here in Oklahoma, we had a little snow last week, but nothignto speak of, hardly even stuck to the ground.

Well we have had a week of off and on rain with 50's and 60's and looks like we are about to pay for it today.
Rain this AM but now it is turning to snow and sounds like it might get nasty and me with only 2 days left on my black powder buck license = going to be a nasty hunt today .

New Years Day
Snow on the ground, +33 and rain. If this don't produce a good ice storm later in the day I will miss my guess.

justwannano 01-01-2006 11:10 PM

Late night new years day.
43 degrees officially its raining but it must not be reaching the ground.
Been warm all week.
Snows all gone except for drifted snow in protected areas. Kinda like early march.
Can't even go ice fishing. Not enough ice.
Supposed to be this way most of the week.

hey

i'm not complaining. sure saves on the gas bill. usually at this time of year it's 20-30 below and the hawk blowing 30-40 miles an hour. so far we have been down to zero a couple of times and for the next week highs will be in the 30's. i love this global warming. ;)

justwannano 02-04-2006 12:07 AM

wow what a wierd year.
had highs in the 50s all week. Some days overnight temps in the 40s.
Right now its 27. Supposed to rain sat and sun.
Was talking to a new guy at work. A displaced Alabamaian due to the hurricanes I guess. He was commenting about this Iowa weather isn't so bad.
I told him we are having an incrediably warm winter. Temps now can be -20 overnight. He wasn't so sure he wanted to experience that :D.

popplecop 02-04-2006 09:45 AM

Well reality set in today, after 46 days with temp hit 30 or above, we should hit mid 20s today. Besides that the ground is white again, only about 1.5"s tho.

Nulle 02-04-2006 10:29 AM

We have a very good snow base in the Mountains but nothing down here on the flats and front range.

rick savage 02-14-2006 03:54 PM

But thats oklahoma for ya, if you don't like the weather, just wait a few min, it'll change.

Huntin seasons are over. Furs slippin on the coyotes. I would just as soon it go ahead and warm up now. Let spring come on. Might as well be comfortable.

Andy
