Announcing: a grandson
 

Leo Anthony Napolitano was born about 9:45 pm Monday, to my elder daughter Regina and husband Mike.

Leo arrived weighing 8.5 pounds and taping 20.5 inches. The birth was fairly easy on the Mother, caused the Father a nervous breakdown, and left the Grandparents very happy indeed.

Ladies, this is for your more detailed interests. Leo has dark hair, long lashes, a calm demeanor, scored 8 and 9 on the alertness tests and his Mother only had to push for 20 minutes.

Congratulations man.. I was there for both the chillun my daughter had. It reaaly is neat. NOW..you're gonna find out for certain that grandmothers are CRAZY. At least the one I am married to is!:D :D Sometimes grandfathers have a tendency towards the same bent.:rolleyes:

Already know that about Grandma. This is our second grandchild. Our younger daughter gave us a girl a year and a half ago.

So now we have a girl and a boy to spoil.

Ahhhh, bliss!

Sounds like a good Italian boy, except the middle name should have been Antonio. LOL

Congrats Rocky. My parents and my wife's parents still only have my daughter as a grandchild. So, my daughter gets spoiled to death. I cannot imagine what it is like to be a grandparent where you can spoil the kid all day and then send them home to mom and dad.

Rocky, One of the greatest joys is holding your first grandson. My daughter handed me her son almost 21 years ago and told me to talk to my grandson. He smiled at me when I whispered to him. Stole my heart big time. Between her and my son, I now have 4 grandsons. My son's wife finally let me hold my granddaughter. Her name is Grace but guess what I call her - Princess. A rose among thorns. Her brothers love her and watch over her. She certainly won't be spoiled.
If you need any instructions on spoiling the grandkids, just give me a note.:D

Rocky, The two oldest grandsons (18 and 21) are big enough to take to a bar fight (big boys), both over 6 foot and 200 lbs, great athletes. They both love to hunt big game or small game. Not much on birds because we don't have much here. The oldest isn't too bad with a shotgun on the trap range. The little guys and gal are all under 4 and more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I tell my son to spend as much time as he can with them, because he grew up too fast. At least I have him close for a few years.
You are going to have great experiences and memories.:)

Sorry for the delay in posting pix. I had my camera there, but they kept the room quite dark (for baby eyes) and there was lot of bustle going on. Never managed to get a clear shot in focus of the little tyke.

Leo is home, and he's healthy, happy, eating well and gaining weight. Everybody is thrilled beyond words.
