I for one miss the posts from the ladies. Did someone make them mad? Hope they come back.

I'm sure one of us Men said something along time ago and this is their way of bringing it up several years later.

Heck, there aren't many men left posting here at HC any more. It's been around a long time, but I fear the board is moribund.

I dunno, I think alot of it has to do with the current political and economic environment. I for one don't feel right if I don't check HC at least once a day.

I too check it everyday, but have to agree with Rocky. We have to do something to get the interest back in it. I say that but at present time don't have any suggestions.

I do. We have had alot of good outdoors guides posted over the years in the various forums. I say we take them, get the writers permission to put them on a outdoors guide articles page as a readable article only accessible by registered members.

I can say i dont tend to post near as much as when hunsting seasens are open or getting ready to open lots of the guy no how i feal when a seasen is openeing just getting ready is cool.

I would also like to say ice queen should be haveing a bear seasen right now in ont i hope it is going well for her if any one should here frome her tell her to give a heads up.
I like they way the bears look by her that white chevrone on the chests of the bears they kill is real cool most the ones we kill are solid black.

I just don't think a lot of women are 'into' guns and hunting like the men are.

HC is not as active as it used to be, but darn it, we are not over run with trolls like some of the other boards either. :)

I was really hoping for more writing and pics from that little lady up in the yukon.

Hey guys!

I'm still around now and then but during the summer I don't have much time on the net. And now, like wrenchman said, we're into bear season. Had a crew in last week, they left on Sunday. Got another crew comin in this week but we're not entirely sure when they will get here.

Hubby got his bruin last night with the smoke pole and I'm out tonight. Hoping to get ours before the next crew of hunters arrive. I was hoping to get out while the other guys were here but my bait went cold so had to wait for the other guys to clear out (I was too busy cookin anyway :) ).

Not sure how much time I'll get online but I'm trying to sneak a little more time in there. I haven't heard much from the other gals. I get an email from boyu once in a while but that's about it.

Hey sweetheart..yea I have been remiss on getting back here, but ya know what I was thinking yesterday? This is THE ONE SITE, that makes ya feel good about all the people on it. Its like home, even if you dont get back too it as often as you should, you know its HOME..

Just so you know I havent been totally useless. As most of you know my every waking moment is trying to get the bad guys out of our airspace and Lord only knows Florida has tons of them. I have been up against the libs and the ACLU for a few months now, " I swear I dont know how these people wipe their backsides in the morning"?
It took everything I had in me to wage this fight, but we won. But wrangling politicians, lawyers and bad guys is a constant ongoing effort. Most of which is the ability to make NOISE..I make lots of NOISE. My local legislators see me coming and make the sign of the cross, I dont let go and I expect them to do what they were elected or appointed to do. "Making nice" doesnt look good on me. The one true thing I have learned is "Children dont vote" and they arent protected as well as they should be..Val

Thanks for kind words, yes I put them on photo proof...they were hard to find in the beginning of the season...just couldnt see them..now I am scrambling to fill my tags (have 14) more to go..by Nov. 1st..I have eaten almost every insect in the swamp and I am bone tired...
