The prices of military surplus arms

As we know, prices have been marching upward on military surplus arms for a number of reasons. It is more than supply and demand; the U.S. dollar has been losing up to 20 percent of its value in the last four years. That makes the things we sell overseas cheaper, but also makes imports more expensive. I suspect government manipulation is involved to deal with the balance of trade deficit. In any case, most military surplus arms available today are imports and prices will go up. (This has already happened with Lyman muzzleloaders, the local shops raised prices about $40.00 per gun.) All the best...
