sea duck decoys

Ive been looking for sea duck decoys and so far the only place I have found selling them is Knutson. They have old squaw, scoters, and blue bill. Has anyone bought from this company? The brand they sell is Sport Plast. Know anything about them? Appreciate any feedback.

Sea Ducks

Hey Rubicon
Just get some old diving duck decoys and paint them the colors that you want. They will work just fine. Scoters aren't the smartest birds ya know. Also you can make some silhouette decoys to put in the spread and they work fine also. We also use bleach bottles painted black with a spot of white here and there. Use as many as you can put out. They will come to more decoys than less. And if ya shoot out of a layout boat they are really hard to hit. Take lots of bullets:D

Skeet, THANKS, Did my first sea duckin last season with a buddy. It was great- and- two boxes of shells ='d four birds. Since I got my own boat this spring Im tryin to start early getting ready for next season. I do have some old decoys I can paint up and actually a 20 min trip to bass pro when the decoys go on sale andsome paint would be cheaper than what I found on line.

A buddy of mine use to use painted milk jugs also. He also painted a 5 gal bucket with a lid floresant (sp?) orange to clip on your ancor lne when you have to go get your birds. That way you will always come back to the same spot
