I DON'T KNOW HOW OLD YOU GUYS ARE, BUT THIS OL' COWPOKE REMEMBERS.

I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN VE AD VJ DAYS WERE NATIONAL HOLIDAYS. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THAT CONCEPT?

TV WAS JUST ABOUT NONEXISTENT IN THOSE DAYS, BUT I SEEN IT ON THE NEWSREEL AT THE MOVIE THEATER.

THOSE BRAVE SOLDIERS WERE MY HEROES AND A PRECURSOR FOR WHAT I DID IN MY FUTURE.

GOD BLESS THEM, EACH AND EVERY ONE.

My mom and I always hold a moment of silence for D-day. All those brave men loosing thier lives to end an empire of absolute evil.

After all... as a mixed-race kid I wouldn't even BE here if they hadn't made that sacrifice.

Rest in peace, soldiers.
