huntin and target stabilizers

what kind and weight stabilizer do yall use to hunt or target shoot with and how heavy do you like it.i like mine real heavy. i mean the whole reason fer a stabilizer is to put weight out in front of the bow to balance the counterpull of you drawin the bow. i would be real intrested in what you got to say.

I hear and see alot of people using the Fuse stabiliozers around here. I dont have one on my bow right now. I have a 2004 Bowtech Extreme VFT which has been shooting great without one, so I have not purchased one yet. The pro shop really recommended the Fuse or the Wild Thing (by bowtech) but they are about $60.00

I always thought they were designed to help with handshock and vibration more than actual stabilization of weight. Unless you have one of the 2 or 3 foot long bad boys for target shooting

I shot my bow with them both and just felt like it didnt justify the $60.00 especially since I needed broadheads alot more.:)
