Rules of Engagement

Has anyone watched the documentary Waco: Rules of Engagement ? Its a pretty detailed docuemntary film recounting the failed assault/publicity stunt by the BATF, the seige and final immolation of Mount Carmel by the FBI. A lot of amazing spin-meistering by the usual supects. Chuckie Schurmer even makes a coule of guest appearances.

I've seen most of the parts of that documentary although probably not in one sitting. Made me too mad to watch it. Those people in that place were killed by the government for one reason...because they could...well maybe another reason too. Only one real story. Of course that is just my opinion!! Powers that be got away with it.

Edited to add...They could have bagged Koresh up any time they wanted him... But they wanted to get into the "church" to see what they had in there too. Couldn't do it by just picking him up on the side of the road. Religious fanatics??..probably...a threat to society?? I doubt it. A threat to some governmental desire or policy?? Definitely. I feel that the do gooders that reported child abuse etc was just a way to get even for some supposed slight or wrong that the people of that group had perpetrated on the person that reported said acts. JMO
