Potato Dumplins
cut up peeled potatoes, into chunks, put in pot
cover with water at least 3-4 inches above potatoes add stick of butter salt & pepper to taste cook 10 minutes un-covered Dumplin's Bisquick 4 cups flour, all purpose 1 cup milk, 1- 1 1/2 cups to make stiff dough drop by spoonfuls into potatos cook 20 minutes, covered stirring regularly |
Wonder if it would work to cover spoonfuls of tater in the dough and drop it in the deep fryer. . . . .

I'm sure it would, just take more time and you wouln't get the potatoes & dumplin juice as with this old recipe
