Looking for......

....examples (either off of a webpage or in a book) of traditional Native American beadwork from the eastern woodlands tribes (Mohawk, Ojibway, Chippawa, ect). I can find plenty of examples of Plains indian beadwork, but I cant' seem to find good representations of works from these tribes. I am making some knives, and I want to make some semi fancy sheaths for them.
Thanks in advance........

Mr. 16 gauge,

Next month there is a pow-wow at a local club with Indian structures, dances, etc. I will see if I can find some information for you then. The reenactors represent local Indian tribes native to this part of PA.

If you look through Pam's site, you can see examples of patterns.

sorry mr 16 i thought you lookin for something else. you might

I was up to Kenockee last weekend.....they didn't have anything like that; Unfortunately most of their firearms have evolved into inlines.:( Still most of their accoutraments are for traditional BP, and it is one of the few places I can still get 'real' black powder.
Thanks for the address for Flint and frizzen, though......I didn't realize it was so close.
