the sks is a barrel of fun to shoot. they are fairly accurate out to 200yds maybe i wouldnt try any surgical precision shooting any further you can get alot of aftermarket parts and make them look tactical or perfrom a little better... id get one if i were you just because no collection is complete without at least one.
