Kodiak Island, Alaska Brown Bear. Weighed approx. 1200lbs. Skull measured 281/2, Bear squared 9'-91/2". Rifle, .35 Whelen,on a '98 Mauser action w/a Shilen barrel.Hand loads were 250gr Horndy Interloks.
