Ol_spark, bigbrother and friend are heading to Alaska tomorrow for their coastal black bear hunt. Good luck to the crew, especially big brother since he's carrying a bow. Ol Spark is carring a 300 RUM and the 3rd is using a 45-70 so hopefully everything will go as planned and the come home with 3 bruisers!

While they are away having a great time, I get the pleasure of babysitting the dog (GSP), who seems to be adjusting to my place rather well.

I hope you get plenty of footage and can't wait to do some editing when you get back! Don't forget to plug Huntchat in the video!! Shoot straight and be safe

I think that there is a perty cool thing...ya'll keep on and one day I might be watchin a hunt chat show. Ya know what...it is VERY possible. There are 2 mopar forums that have their own show...why caint we have our own show???
That would be the coolest!

They should have no trouble getting their bear. All they have to do is find a stream with samon. A big griz cleaned the bank of fisherman when I was up there a month ago on the Russian river. When we stopped in Hyder the samon weren`t in because the river was up, but we seen 4 black bears crossing the street down town.
