What job supports your habit?

Myself, I work for Joyline in Taber, Alberta. We haul heavy Iron :D
Basically we do the tear-out, moving, and rig-up of oilfield drilling rigs.
We also will do any oilfield heavy or specialty hauling.
I am just a swamper on a big bed truck for right now, but am going to be getting my own tractor(Soon I hope ;) )

So what do you guys do?

Heres a few pix of my Big Bed Truck :)

Damn, Captain! That's a cool rig. Man, I could really do some things with that truck!

BTW...your kids are getting HUGE!!! How time flies!

Nice pics Captain. TreeDoc, need we even ask what you do (i.e., arborist).

Me, I'm an attorney and CPA, but not necessarily in that order all the time. From the beginning of February to the middle of April I am almost always wearing my CPA hat. The rest of the year is a toss up. I don't have any pics of me to post that are work related, but I could take a pic of my office/desk with two big stacks of on the desk and files all over the floor waiting for work to be done on them.

Since this is turning into a thread about crazy things you can do with a truck, thought I would post one of a helicopter.

Nothing as exotic, I ride heard on a keyboard and seven phone lines selling auto parts and working with insurance companys and body shops. Been doing it for thirty years, gets kinda dull at times, most exciting thing is sifting through scams wanting foreign shipments and bogus credit card deals!LOL

I am the assistant manager for procurement at Kent State University. So to describe what job supports my habit, I could say that I buy stuff so that I may buy stuff!

Technical Specialist for a University Police Dept. The coolest thing about my job is that there are no other techs for about 140 miles that have been cleared by the state to work on "sensitive data". In the last few months I have gotten on a first name basis with the DA, the regional rep of the FBI and the district Texas Ranger.

I push a desk and sit in front of a computer most days, though I occasionally get out in the field to a job site.

I am usually designing somebody's next dream house, lately I have been designing commercial buildings, from multi-family condos (63+ suites w/underground parking) to schools & car dealers.

It can be boring, but also quite interesting, I like to think I leave my mark on the world!
