Hello Everyone

I just wanted to say Hello and introduce myself.

I am the Director of Marketing for a company that develops and manufactures hunting safety accessories.

I'm always glad when I find a good hunting forum because I have lots of questions. Hunters are a great group of people and have been really helpful to me as I learn more and more about hunting.

Personally, I am not yet a hunter. My first task is to learn to shoot, which I am working on right now. I'm very excited about it.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello. I'm looking forward to learning a lot here.

Thanks for the welcome.

My job is a great job. I'm learning a lot about hunting and shooting and meeting some great people.

I have a long way to go before I become a Sportswoman. I have to learn to shoot first. Then we'll see.

Welcome to the board GSG.

So, how did you come up with the Gunslingergirl name if you have never been shooting. LOL

All kidding aside, I hope you have a great time on this chatboard and that we are able to help you with whatever you need to know. Me, I love this board and have met a bunch of great guys/gals on this board in person. I have also received a lot of help with my questions too, and I am sure you will too.

Since you are the director of marketing for a hunting related business, you might want to contact the owner of this board, Petey, regarding advertising on the board if you find the board to your liking. This board is completely funded by sponsors and it would really be a shame to lose it.

Welcome Gunslingergirl, always nice to see someone here from my neck of the woods, even if I'm out of town, in fact, a long ways out of town!! Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Fabsroman, I already did contact the board owners about advertising. Haven't heard anything back yet, but hopefully will soon.

Also, my screen name is kind of a joke with my co-workers. Plus I do hope to start shooting soon, so I may be able to call myself a Gunslingergirl for real.

Dom, where in Michigan are you from? I love Traverse City, it is so beautiful up here. Also, where in Europe are you? I'd like to get over there myself in the next couple years.

Again, thanks for the weclome.

Welcome to the board Gunslingergirl. I have made many good friends here at HuntChat, even Moose hunted with two of them. One came from Italy and one from the UK. You'll find some very knowledgeable men AND women here. Hope to see you as a regular. Good hunting...and shooting, grayghost

Hey Gunslinger, grew up in the Thumb, but have visited all over, also lived in Cheboygan County a few years near Gaylord, caught Lakers in Traverse Bay (Uncle lives in TC & has a nice boat there!), Deer Camp in the Yooper near Marquette a few times, and a few other places I forgot. Enjoy the Traverse cherries, I can still taste them! I'm in Germany and enjoying it, but will be back to my roots in MI a few years. Glad to have you aboard in HC, will offer info on what I'm familiar with, unfortunately, I'm weak on pistols/revolvers, Dom.

Gunslingergirl 11-06-2006 09:14 AM

I suppose I should be barred from being a TC resident, as I don't particularly like cherries. Except sweet cherries, those are ok.

My screen name, Gunslingergirl, is kind of a joke with my co-workers and refers to a product from one of our companies. I don't shoot anything at this point, but will probably start learning to shoot a rifle soon.

Wow, small world.

I've been to St. Ignace several times. Always seem to get fudge there. :)

Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks to everyone who recommended that my company become a sponsor on this board. As you can see, we are now a sponsoring company.

I think it speaks really well that everyone on this board is so loyal. I'm glad my company is able to help support HuntChat.com.
