in search of JC Higgins 16ga info.
 

Can anyone tell me what they know about a JC Higgins 16 gauge model # 583.21 bolt action shotgun? It holds 2-3/4 inch shells, 1 in the chamber and 3 in the tube.

Had one when I was a youngin', it was a 20 ga. Never had any problems with it. Worked great for small game.

But I heard there is a recall out for that model, but I don't know the specifics. Perhaps someone else will see the post with better info than i have.
