Iraq

Two weeks and counting. My older son leaves for Iraq soon. He's an infantry platoon leader, (1st LT) assigned to the 82nd Airborne.

I hope I don't loose my cool with some "Demonocrate" or another in hte next year.

Hawkeye6,

Haven't seen you around lately. Glad to see your post, and I am proud of your son. I wish him a safe tour.

If you get me started on the Democrats, it could be a long day. If they are so worried about our soldiers over there, how about approving the war funding and then taking this up with Bush on some other venue such as health care, welfare, etc. in return for some reduction in force. At the end of the day, I think advertising a withdrawal date to the world is a huge mistake.

Crisp salute to him, Hawkeye.

Like Fabs said, don't get me started on Demoncraps.

I know you're proud, and I wish him God's speed and may HE watch over him.

May our Creator strengthen, watch over and protect your son and all those like him who "stand between the monsters and the weak". My thanks to your son for his service and to you for raising a patriot.

Please keep us advised.
