I wish you a happy and safe July 4th.

At 1100 today here in Mansfield, PA we had our July 4th Parade and the Bucktails were the color guard. I was to the right of the National colors in the front rank. We had 16 rifles, 2 buglers, one drummer and 5 Medical Corps Nurses in our detachment.

We stepped off at 1105 and got back to the start line at 1140. I just put my rifle and kit into the truck when the sky opened up. We have a big family reunion/cookout later today at the Tioga hunting lodge.
