gspsonny03,
You nailed it! Lewis & Clark left St. Louis in May 1804 and returned to St. Louis on September 23, 1806. If you have not read their Journals, you will find it a good read. I got a one-volume abridged version that was real history in the making. Adam |
I have not read their journals, but have read a few books on their travels. I have always enjoyed reading about the early history of this country.

I was out west for a Mule deer/antelope hunt back in 2004....at one of the rest areas in S.D. there was a very interesting display on L &C.....had a replica of the ship they used, some of the trade goods they carried, ect.
I thought the whole exhibit was cool! |
