Thread dedication to Veterans

On this here Veteran's Day, I think it would be a fittin HC tribute to honor your Veteran family & freinds by postin their name and info here on this thread that were in any American war. I felt it was important to include Civil & Revolutionary wars, as they shouldnt be forgotton either.
God bless our heros, and God bless America.

"But in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or to detract. The world will little note nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here."
- Abraham Lincoln

don't know much family history, but had an uncle died in WWII, and my father served in korea and WWII; was at normandy, was a POW for awhile after the battle of the bulge; was also at pork chop in korea.

i probably should have gone military, but went into high school coaching instead.
sometimes i think i'm better suited to military.
