Wow, that was a lot more than I expected from Wikepedia on the subject. Very good coverage and I think it explained it pretty well.

It did explain the concept very well. And it was the first link presented by a Google Search on "ballistic coefficient".

about all ballistic programs have a feature where you can figure bc from velocity or trajectory. figuring from trajectory is easiest.
