winchester model 70
 

hey i posted this over in gunsmithing but might as well try it here. i purchased a new stock for my model 70 it is a 30/06. well my old style was a blind box design and the new stock is not. i was wondering if anyone knew what i needed to buy to convert this over to the hinged design. thanks

Just off the top of my head, a floorplate assembly, and new trigger guard. You might also have to replace the magazine box and spring and follower assembly, but then again, maybe not.
Try contacting Winchester in New haver as I think they still handle service problems and parts orders there.
