16 Gauge Skeet Guns
 

There are Model 12 Winchesters that are marked skeet and "old" 16 gauge shells that are with #9 shot marked skeet shells. Apparently, at some time, skeet must have been shot with all "5" guages; 12, 16, 20, 28, and .410. When was this, and why was the 16 gauge taken out of the system? Just curious.
