Same thing in my part of the world Dan. I got the dog out grouse hunting before the storm hit and we had a blast. Supposed to be in the 50's this weekend and Black Hills deer opens sunday so I will be out for that.

That big flat aluminum thingy with a long handle is called a Snow Shovel, if I recall correctly.;)

You guys just have a ball..... Hum, I must go work on the dock this weekend, in the pond, at the farm. No ice, no snow, ho hum.
Best,
Ed

Dan

My brother lives in Littleton. He's home today with a bad back. Has his wife on the snow blower. Her first time and he said she did a good job, a real good job.

My wife's idea of the outdoors is walking to the mail box........took off early and did my snow....Littleton proper had about a foot.....I live in SW burbs, Littleton mailing...came home to 26" measured.....as of 1812, it's still raining a LOT of powder!

Finally let up here Thurs evening (near Elizabeth, CO). Shoveling today. My dogs love it tho - 2 huskies. Not sure how much we got; around 2 ft I guess.

Dan,

I would think your wife's and my sister in law have the same idea as to what the outdoors is. Then again my Bostonian wife is the same.

We'll get our share and I guarentee you my wife wouldn't shovel anything if her life depended on it.

Go to work with 18 in. of snow???? No way. You might go hunting, but not to work. ;)

Well, all we got were a few flakes. Enough for me though.
