need pistol shotshell components
 

I am looking to pick up some speer (or other brand) shot capsules for 38/357 and I need to come up with a pound or two of lead shot. prefereably #10 or smaller, though I could settle for #9 if I had to.

Adding an adendum, I know midway and some other places list having the shotshell capsules in stock, most of them actually don't and they have gotten almost as pricey as loaded shells. Thats why I am looking to help clean off somebodies load bench if they have a box (or partial box) or two that they just want gone.

GOB, for the amount of shot you'll use to fill a box of Speer shot capsules, a bag of shot is massive overkill.
If you know any skeet shooters that reload, beg or bargain 1 pound of shot from them- that will last you a long time. Skeet shooters often use #9 shot, which is about the smallest you'll find most places.

Yep, thats why I only need a pound or two. I have found as small as #14 shot, but only in 25# and larger bags.

We don't have any skeet shooters local. I have to drive to Conroe, almost 2 hours to get to a skeet range.

For shot in ALL sizes, Google Ballistic Products. I get my #10 from them to load pistol shotshells. They may have new products I haven't seen. Guess I will browse their site and see what is new.

Thanks Larry, I checked them out, not bad, but still a 10# bag. Mag order from them though, and I deffinantly like having another reloading supplier in my arsenal.

G.O.B. Try this site. tnvalleybullets@dishmail.net Tell Jessie I sent you. A while back he was selling #12 shot, IIRC in smaller batches for those who loaded "snake loads." He may still have some left.
