Opening day antelope
 

Shot this lope opening morning (8/22/10). Hit the left lung and blew out the right shoulder using a 270 Weatherby Mag with 130 gr nosler ballistic tip handloads. Sorry for all the blood.

Thanks. Anyone know why antelope stink?? I always forget what they smell like until I'm around one.

I love watching a first timer field dress one (seems I turned green with my first one too)

I'm not very experienced at field judging antelope, but I can tell this one looks big. Glad you had a good hunt.
