I booked a cow elk hunt for my son & I in the Bighorns of Wyoming for the fall of '12. No points required ! I'll likely buy Wyoming elk & antelope points this year for future use. You've got to plan a few years ahead.

FWIW, a lil trick taught to me by a ret dow troop. Go on dow web site.
follow directions to purchase a tag........if ya drew elk, it will, after a few pages, show 580 or 581 if you are a non res...if one of those numbers appears, you drew....if you had multiple choices, you still have to wait a few days to see if it is a bull or cow. Just got off there and I drew.....just don't know which! Just kill your app at that point.
